House of Mammoth

We are closing the shop today in solidarity with the nationwide shutdown. For House of Mammoth, our scent stories and our fight against human trafficking are one and the same mission: to reacquaint people with their own humanity and find connection to themselves and others. That mission is inherently political, because it requires us to care about what happens to people. My own family came to this country from Italy a few generations ago in search of a better life. They faced discrimination and violence, yet they stayed. I would not be here today, and this brand would not exist, without their courage and sacrifice. When America has been strong, it has been strong because of our ability to hold multiple perspectives, to see deeply into one another's lives, and to learn from each other. We are all neighbors, even the folks who are too blind to see past their own selfishness. We are standing with our immigrant neighbors today because we believe in a world where everyone is safe to pursue a better life. We refuse to let our neighbors be erased or pushed into the shadows.
